Reminder: Registration Open for Provincials
Registration is open for the 2025 Alberta and Northwest Territories Pool Lifesaving Championships & Junior Games, also known as Provincials!
This annual competition will once again be hosted at Calgary's Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton (4995 Market Street SE) and runs from April 4 - 6.
The full schedule of events, instructions for registering for SERC, hotel bookings and much more can be found in the Event Package, so we highly recommend checking that out, along with the Safety Plan!
We're also looking for volunteers to fill Official positions at the event such as referee, timer, equipment crew, and more. Having previous officiating experience, and/or holding a Pool/Community Official certification is an asset, but definitely not a requirement! Volunteers are served meals, and will receive their own Lifesaving Society Official t-shirt to keep. If you're interested in applying, please fill out the form here!
Additional Volunteers Wanted for Opening Ceremony
We're looking for an athlete, an official, and a parent to kick off the competition by each reading the Competitors, Officials, and Parents Oaths at the opening ceremony! (These short speeches can all be found on page 24 of the ABNWT Competition Manual).
Not only that, but we're also seeking an individual (or multiple) to sing 'O Canada' at the start of the ceremony!
If you're interested or know someone who is, more details can be found in the sign-up form!
