To register in a course, create a new account. Courses with pre-requisites will require registration review and approval from office staff prior to enrolment.
Pool Official provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and judgement to officiate at sanctioned Lifesaving Sport Pool competitions.
Cost: $39.64
Registration includes online course materials, the Canadian Officials Manual, and certification.
Required Prerequisites:
Participants must be at least 16 years of age, hold a Community Official Certification, and have prior officiating experience.
The Bronze Medal Awards 2021 Mandatory Update for Lifesaving Trainers and Instructors is a self-directed course that addresses the updated content for the revised National Programs. Upon completion, participants will receive updated materials.

Registration includes access to online course materials, updated Bronze Medals Award Guide, Lesson Plans, and the New Bronze Cross Course Book.

Participants must hold an existing Swim or Lifesaving Instructor award (does not need to be current).
Community Official prepares volunteers with basic competitive lifesaving officiating skills to officiate at community-level Lifesaving Sport competitions.
Cost: This course is free!

Participants must be a minimum 13 years of age.
Trainers are responsible for preparing candidates to assume leadership roles as Lifesaving Society Instructors, Examiners, and Coaches. The Trainer Course prepares Trainers to apply level 4 leadership competencies to support Instructors.

Required Prerequisites:
Application to the Society, current Lifesaving Society Instructor certification, demonstrated Level 3 leadership competencies, and a minimum two (2) years teaching experience.
The National Lifeguard Instructor Recertification course evaluates Instructor Level 3 leadership competencies and provides Instructors with updates from the Lifesaving Society.
Cost: $70.00

The National Lifeguard 2023 Mandatory Update for National Lifeguard Trainers and Instructors is a self-directed course that addresses the updates to program content. Upon completion participants will receive an updated award guide.

Participants must hold an existing National Lifeguard Instructor award (does not need to be current) or have completed the National Lifeguard Instructor Course prior to April 17, 2023.
The Swim and Lifesaving Instructor Re-certification course evaluates Instructor Level 1 leadership competencies, facilitates networking, and provides Instructors with updates from the Lifesaving Society.
