National Drowning Prevention Week

Recognized every year on the third full week of July, promotes awareness of the drowning prevention problem in Canada and the need for individuals, communities, organizations, and government to take action in an effort to save lives.

World Drowning Prevention Day

Recognized on July 25 every year, this day is for raising awareness of the importance of drowning prevention and the need for urgent action as a collective to improve water safety and reduce preventable deaths and injury

Annual General Meeting

Every June, members of the Branch get together to reflect on last year's accomplishments and challenges, discuss future plans, and elect new board members.

Investiture Ceremony

This is a formal annual event wherein individuals are presented with awards for performing water rescues, or for reaching a certain number of volunteer service hours with us.
