Recognition Awards
Every year the Lifesaving Society honours and recognizes individuals, affiliates, and members who help prevent drowning and water-related injuries in Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
The dedicated volunteers and rescue heroes are formally celebrated at our annual Investiture of Lifesaving Honours ceremony. Individuals may receive National, Commonwealth and/or Branch service and rescue awards.
Affiliate members are celebrated and recognized at our Annual General Meeting and Branch Recognition awards for their delivery of Society training programs and promotion of Water Smart® public education.

These awards are granted to individuals who showed great courage in rescuing another from drowning. |
These awards are granted to individuals who have reached certain volunteer hours with us. |

These awards are granted at AGM, to affiliates who met various achievements while delivering our programs. |
This award is distributed yearly at AGM, to the affiliate who made the most significant volunteer contributions that year. |
