Updated Lifesaving Sport Coach 1 Course

The Lifesaving Society is excited to announce that Sport Coach 1 is ready to transition to the new leadership model. The updated program aligns to the Lifesaving Society Leadership Model and aligns delivery across Canada. 

Implementation

Action Timeframe
Lifesaving Sport Coach 1 may be delivered using current course pack November 1, 2019 - April 30, 2020
Affiliates may schedule and delivery the updated Lifesaving Sport Coach 1 course.
  • Affiliates offering updated program must follow updated delivery guidelines and order updated Sport Coach 1 Pack by phone.
  • Trainer(s) delivering the updated Lifesaving Sport Coach 1 course must have completed the Trainer Mandatory Update or completed the Trainer Course after September 2017.

Lifesaving Society Policy and Procedures Updated
  • Affiliates must schedule and deliver the updated Lifesaving Sport Coach 1 course with updated delivery guidelines.
