Instructor Courses Available this Summer!
Though summer is slowly on its way out, there's still plenty of time for a Lifesaving Society course or two! Here are some facilities that will be running Instructor courses in August and early September:
MacEwan University (Edmonton, AB)
MacEwan University will be running two new Lifesaving courses during the month of August, and both are currently open for registration!
1. Lifesaving First Aid Instructor (Original)
Date: August 17 - 18, 2024
Time: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Location: Building 7, classroom 265
Prerequisite(s): must have a Lifesaving Instructor certification and a Government of Alberta Workplace Approved Intermediate First Aid certification (must be current)
Cost: $320.00
Registration Deadline: August 15 at 8:30am
2. Swim/Lifesaving Instructor (Original with Preschool Proficiency)
Date: August 26 - 30, 2024
Time: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Location: Building 7, classroom 265
Prerequisite(s): must be 15 years of age or older and possess a Bronze Cross or higher certification (does not need to be current)
Cost: $450 ($375 if currently a MacEwan student)
Registration Deadline: August 26 at 8:30am
Elevation Place (Canmore, AB)
Interested in completing a First Aid Instructor apprenticeship? Canmore's Elevation Place will be running a First Aid Instructor course from September 6 - 7!
