Call for Volunteers: Training Program Commissioner
The Lifesaving Society Canada is currently seeking a volunteer to lead the Training Program activity centre and projects as assigned by the Board of Directors. Reporting to the Board of Directors (or designate), the Training Program Commissioner will perform duties as outlined in the attached Terms of Reference and Job Description.
The Lifesaving Society Canada’s Training Program Commission contributes to the mission of the Society by developing or revising training programs and related training materials used to educate Canadians in the prevention of drowning and water-related injury. At this time, the Training Program Commission has three areas of focus to help achieve this mandate:
Launch of the revised Bronze Medals program and award guide as per the current Revisions Model.
Review of the National Lifeguard program and award guide as per the current Revisions Model.
Revision of the candidate materials for Bronze Medals and National Lifeguard.
