Update to Our "Submit a Course" Page

In an effort to make our website more accessible to our members, we have recently implemented some changes, notably to the "Submit a Course" page.
Previously, when affiliates wished us to add a course to our website, they would use this page to submit details about the course to us, which we would then publish on our "Find a Course" page.
With these updates, affiliates can now publish the courses themselves for a much quicker experience! To learn about the new submission process, check out our guide below!
What's New
Affiliate Information
Affiliate:
- Here you can select your name or organization from the dropdown menu. This menu is updated automatically to list all current affiliate contacts.
Affiliate Contact:
- In this section, enter the name of the individual submitting the course, in case we need to get in touch for follow-up. Please know that information written in this section will not be visible on the published course listing, and is only accessible to our office staff.
Facility Host Information
Facility Name:
- As some affiliate contacts are associated with multiple facilities, here you can select the precise facility where the course or courses will be held.
- Unlike the affiliate list, this one is not updated automatically, so it is possible that the facility you're looking for will not show up in the dropdown menu. If this is the case, you can instead enter in the name, address, and phone number of the facility.
Course Information
Website & Course Details:
- Under "Website," you can enter the registration link for the course, if applicable.
- In the final section of the submission form, "Course Details," you can share any additional information about the course that you think candidates should know, such as prerequisites, cost, and registration deadline.
After you've filled out the form, you can go ahead and submit the course!
After Submission
Once you hit "Submit," don't panic if your post doesn't show up right away. A Lifesaving Society staff member will review and publish your post shortly afterwards on our Find a Course page (unless we need to contact you for any clarifications, of course).
Please know that because the page is new, there may still be some mild technical issues. If you have any questions or are experiencing difficulties with submitting a course, don't hesitate to reach out to us at Experts@Lifesaving.org.
We hope you'll find this quicker submission process much more convenient!
