Lifesaving Sport Scholarship Program Sill Accepting Applicants

In our Spring 2024 edition of Ripples, we announced that the Lifesaving Society is currently offering a special scholarship program to athletes and officials representing Canada at this year's World Lifesaving Championships.

The society will award scholarships based on athletes being appointed to Canada's National or Development Teams, and for Officials who have had their appointments endorsed by the Branch.

Application Deadline: July 14, 2024 at 11:59pm

 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a resident of Alberta or the Northwest Territories.
  • Be a member in good standing.
  • Be a registered athlete or current official.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the humanitarian mandate of the Society by giving back, and/or a demonstrated financial need.

Preference will be given to those who meet all criteria.
